The Making of Moe's Soul Food Kitchen
Welcome to Moe's Soul Food Kitchen, a family-owned restaurant that has been serving up fresh, home-cooked recipes in Lawrenceville, Georgia. We are dedicated to providing our customers with a unique dining experience that combines our passion for food with our love for family.
Our restaurant was started on November 4, 2019, by Starr Coles, owner, with family members Felecia Robinson, and Sincere Robinson. Moe's Soul Food Kitchen is named after our son and nephew, Maurice Durham, who tragically passed away at a young age from Sickle Cell Anemia. Maurice was a special person who had a love for good food and a passion for family. It is in his memory that we continue to cook and serve the delicious soul food that he loved so much.
At Moe's Soul Food Kitchen, we believe in using only the freshest ingredients to create our dishes. Our recipes have been passed down from generation to generation, and we take great pride in preserving our family's traditions. From our mouth-watering fried chicken and macaroni and cheese to our famous collard greens and black-eyed peas, we put our heart and soul into every dish we serve.
Our goal is to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere where our customers can come and enjoy a delicious meal with family and friends. We want everyone who walks through our doors to feel like they are part of our family. Whether you're stopping by for a quick lunch or celebrating a special occasion, we are here to provide you with an unforgettable dining experience.
Thank you for considering Moe's Soul Food Kitchen for your next meal. We look forward to serving you and continuing our family's legacy of delicious, home-cooked soul food.
